Recording of wind ensemble
On 3rd September, I had the opportunity to assist in the recording of a wind ensemble at Mediacorp for 2 songs to be used in the President's Star Charity 2022.
We had the opportunity to record the instruments ourselves, applying our knowledge gained in class and experience using Pro Tools to navigate the session.
Before the session, we gathered information and researched on the instruments to be recorded, as well as the miking techniques used.
Using what we learnt from researching, we miking all instruments recorded during the session.
Audio cleanup was done on Pro Tools, making use of functions such as strip silence.
